The Straw Roundhouse is a totally unique, one-of-a-kind, timber frame and straw bale building, built with uncompromising care and timeless quality. It sits in the middle of the farm, in a quiet, private, tree-surrounded space of its own, allowing guests to feel they are cut-off - and at peace - from the rest of the world.

It was created using the concept of biophilic design, which draws on the positive impacts of using natural materials, as well as natural shapes, tones and textures to connect occupants to the natural environment, and has been shown to have a huge range of benefits to health, wellness and the environment.

Roundhouse guests are welcome to explore the whole farm while they are staying here, giving them extra access to paths and areas that are not usually open to the public. A stay here really allows guests to immerse themselves in the beauty of Leasowe Farm and all the more-than-human life that lives here.
