LEASOWE FARM
Connecting Land and Community
Welcome to our farm
Leasowe Farm is a 130 acre piece of land that is home to a number of humans, more-than-humans, community-focused projects and independent businesses. Owned and sensitively stewarded by the Ingall Family since 1992, as of early 2025, the majority of the land is now part of a rewilding project, with Tom and Caz Ingall as the current co-guardians.
In modern, industrial societies, such as here in the UK, human beings can often experience living lives that are disconnected from nature. Access to land can be prohibitively difficult for some folk, due to a wide variety of reasons, and many people feel excluded from exploring the wild spaces around them.
We know how important it is for people to be able to engage with the natural world - be it for pleasure, leisure, educational purposes, work opportunities, or even healing. As such, we feel passionately about keeping access open to the land here to as many people as possible, in order that they might, in some way, reconnect with their own innate wildness. We believe that rewilding ourselves is as important as rewilding nature, in order that we may learn to live more intentional, connected, healthy and joyful lives.
Whether it is simply coming for a walk on the farm to explore the rewilding project, joining in a nature connection activity in Tallis Wood, or enjoying a longer stay in our Straw Roundhouse, Leasowe Farm offers a variety of different ways the local community can spend time connecting to, engaging with, and immersed in, nature.
Everyone is very welcome.
